The Begining of Our Mountain of Papaerwork

We flew into Chongqing this morning and it is much different than Beijing. It has many more skyscrapers and the streets are much more winding since the area is very mountainous. The Yangtze river, the world's third largest, runs though the center.

After checking in and having a quick lunch, we were off to the grocery store for some bottled water. We get many more people staring at us here. On the way back from the store a young girl ran up to Jenny and handed her a balloon. A little farther down we heard a loud "ahem". When we looked over, there were four waitresses looking out a restaurant doorway waving and giggling.

When we got back we all met to fill out some paperwork for tomorrow.

For dinner, we went out for the famous hot pot. This is a native cooking style much like fondue where you cook your food in a boiling broth. The outer pot is like a mild chicken broth while the inner pot is VERY spicy and VERY good.

This is a night shot from our room of the river front

Oh yea, did I mention we got a recent picture of Josh in our paperwork Today?

This is for his visa application. Jen, being the clever one she is, took a picture of the picture since it was on paperwork we didn't get to keep.

Tomorrow is D-DAY!! Be sure to check in!!

Matt and Jenny
