Drum Roll Please...

HERE HE IS!!!
Unless anyone objects, We'll shut up and just put some pictures up!

The guy is Michael, our guide and interpreter for all of our appointments. The Lady is from the orphanage where Josh has been. There were several nannies there but this one was either the directer or in charge of the others in some way. We were able to ask her questions but we couldn't think of anything. They gave us the formula he has been on and the eating / sleeping schedule he has been on.

On the bus ride back to the hotel, he went into coma land.

Coma land lasted about twenty minutes.

Look, I can stand already!!

We love the stacking cups, the chew toy, and the plastic our laundry came back in.

OK, where to start. We all took a bus to the Civil Affairs Office and waited in a foyer on the third floor. The babies were siting on a couch in a conference room with glass walls so we could all see them. They started calling us one-by-one. It all happened so fast it seems like a blur. Thanks to mom and dad we got lots of pictures. We couldn't see in right away since everyone rushed to the glass. We were the 8th out of ten to be called so as people started getting their babies, we could see more into the room. When there were four babies left on the couch, we noticed one had grabbed the purse one of the nannies had left and proceeded to rummage through it. Sure enough, it was Josh. That's my boy! Already a little pain.

We put him on the scale in our room and would you believe he is 22lbs!! All the babies are in great shape! He has a little congestion but not too bad. He is VERY alert and curious. He never has cried much other than a couple 20 second whimpers. He seemed to be more stunned than anything.

At dinner he really started to come out of his shell. He would not take a bottle for anything, so I thought he might eat some congee. Congee is like rice porridge. He was attacking the spoon to eat it. He was smiling and started to babble. Of course, he tore apart the table.

It's 10:15 pm here and he has been asleep for one hour. Let's see how long it lasts. We both are beat. Most of all were thankful the wait is finally over and he is health and strong.

Love to all, Matt and Jenny

Dad took the blog address & has internet access @ the resort office so he planned to take a peek when the fish wern't biting. WON'T he be surprised to see him standing up ! ? By the way , Patty called in yesterday's fishing report( (1 wife will get a call & then report to the others) Weather is great & so is fishing (we don't get that many times ) HUGS~MOM :)

Jen and Matt,

I am in tears also. Marianna and I are sitting here looking at the pictures and I'm reading them to her. She is so excited to meet her new cousin, she said she wants to see him today! I told her it would be a couple more weeks. Please give him hugs and kisses from us all! He is already the same weight Marianna was when she was 1!

Love you all!

Lisa
