Boys will be boys

Did you know that having the flu really stinks? Both Matt and I have been sick with the flu for the past week. It's been six days since we started getting sick and we still aren't 100%. Thankfully, Josh has not come down with the flu.

The weather has been terrific the past four days or so. We have been playing outside a lot. Josh had an awesome time going around the yard filling his wagon with his "yard discoveries" the other day. He was even a big help cleaning up the yard. Unfortunately, it is supposed to get cold again starting tomorrow. I really want winter to end sooner than later.

As everyone knows we made the switch to Daylight savings time on Sunday. It has really messed with Josh's sleeping schedule and he is definitely out of sorts. Hopefully it won't be to long before he has recovered.

This is a picture of Josh's mystery bruise. We don't know where it came from but Josh had a huge bruise on his cheek.

Josh is wearing Matt's SCBA that he brough home for his HazMat class. Josh thought he was pretty hot stuff wearing it.

What happens when you eat a warm fresh chocolate chip cookie? You get a chocolate covered kid, of course.

Nice warm day = Gettin' the big wheel out

Josh's yard discoveries

So while Josh was trying to nap we heard him playing with his art easel. We wondered what he was doing, but decide to let him be to see if he would sleep. Well, when we set him free (by the way he never did sleep) there was dry erase maker on the wall and all over Josh. Sometimes it is really hard to discipline and not to laugh at the same time.

He wrote all over his legs and even the bottom of his feet.

What has Matt been doing in his HazMat class? Playing dress up in funny looking suits.

Holiday World Update = In June my sister and her fam and the three of us are going to Holiday World. Josh must be 36 inches to ride the rides. On his 2nd birthday he was 34 1/4 inches tall. Since then he has not grown at all!! We're not even sure that three pairs of socks and tennis shoes will make up the difference in height. He had better grow some between now and then

As I said on FB, I am sorry you guys got so sick, but this is a great update post.

It's hard to pick a favorite photo, but I have to go with the drawing all over himself one! And I am totally digging on the big wheel.
