We know it's been awhile since our last post, but the creeping crud has stuck with us for over three weeks and we are over it, finally! It took a toll on all of us though. Josh had his first ear infection which required antibiotics, while Matt and I have just toughed it out. Thankfully, Matt's mom is out of the hospital and doing great. She does a have cold right now though.
On a sad note, we had to put to sleep Matt's mom and dad's dog Annie. She was our favorite. Thankfully, she didn't suffer long. I'm gonna miss playing ball with her and watching her tolerate Josh playing with her. I'm also going to miss watching Josh run in and give her a hug first thing. We loved you Anne and we'll miss you.
Spring is starting to arrive in Indiana. The birds are singing and the Sandhill cranes are migrating north. We have all enjoyed getting outside after being cooped up all winter the past few days. We've gone to the zoo, the park and did some yard work yesterday. Josh is now able to ride both his bike and big wheel fast enough that it is hard to keep up with him.
The other big news in the Partain household is that we signed Josh up for preschool today. He will start in the fall. It will be two days a week from 9am to 11:45am. We know that he'll love it and it will be nice to have a little Josh free time to run errands. We enrolled him at our church and they have a very nice preschool program there.
